We Call It Love brings to light the 100 darkest days in the history of Rwanda. A woman goes to meet the man who has killed her son, not to accuse him but to relate with him as the last person through whom she can connect with her lost son. This play was written after documentary research and interviews on the theme of human rights and living accounts on genocide. By using these accounts in a positive way, Carole Karemera hopes to fight against the dangers of forgetting and shows that within us all, we share a faith and an enormous capacity to change.
